Akshay Kumar to re-host Fear Factor

Akshay Kumar to re-host Fear Factor Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, who had a golden run at the box office in 2008, would return to small screen later this year with the second edition of the Indian version of the reality show `Fear Factor'.`Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi level 2' would be aired on Colors channel, which had telecast the first edition, also hosted by Kumar.

In the second version of the adventure game show, celebrity participants would be accompanied by commoners.Those with an ability to perform under pressure and love and passion for adventure will be chosen through auditions to be held all over the country. At present, registration process is on and it will end on February 15.

Auditions will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. The channel will soon be revealing the names of the celebrity participants on the show.

Speaking about the return of the action extravaganza, Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head, Colors, said, "Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 - is going to be a notch higher than the last season in terms of bigger celebrity participants, the tough level of challenges and even Akshay Kumar! The inclusion of the common man as a co-contender will definitely create a lot of excitement."
