Newly emerged sex bomb Neetu Chandra of OYE LUCKY... fame is all out to prove her overwhelming oomph desperately. After her ultra exposure in a provocative male fantasy photo shoot for the cover of a men's magazine, she is now reportedly taking pains to deny rumours that she got carried away while shooting. In other words she wishes to clear herself of the 'lesbian' tag.

It can be recalled that when Neetu was shooting for the cover of 'The Man' magazine, a few male customers threatened action, resulting in the shoot having to be abruptly called off. Then talks of some activists burning copies of the magazine spread like wild fire.

But the bombshell proclaims that the shoot has been done so aesthetically that several Bollywood biggies have complimented her after the pictures made its way into television channels and papers. As they say, any publicity is good publicity! 'Straight' or whatsoever...

No, Neil Nitin Mukesh has not committed any crime and taken to jail but the actor went to jail according to his own wish. The fair and handsome paid a visit to jail for his upcoming flick, Jail to be directed by ace director Madhur Bhandarkar.

Happening to spend five hours in jail has changed Neil’s perception towards life. Neil Nitin Mukesh shares his experience in spending time with the prisoners, "Faces and voices in there which I'll never forget"."It was the most life-changing day of my life. Her last film Mere Baap Pehle Aap bombed at the Box Office. But newcomer Genelia D'souza is hopeful about her next - Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

Therefore, July 4 will also be a big day for her as two major releases starring two debutant actors will hit the screens. While Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na introduces Imran Khan, Love Story 2050 introduces Harman Baweja.

Interestingly Genelia is the common link between the two young actors. She plays leading lady to Imran in Jaane Tu.. and months later will be seen sharing the screen with Harman in Anees Bazmee's comedy, It's My Life.

Even though Imran's hogging all the attention for Jaane Tu… currently, Genelia has no problems whatsoever.

“Nobody would be interested talking about me right now for sure. You know what I mean. It’s being practical. I wouldn’t have got this kind of buzz about my film. any newcomer goes through the grind to get noticed. So being cast opposite Imran Khan, it’s being his launch, and he being from Aamir and Mansoor khan family, people are excited to know what this film is about. And eventually Aditi is important part of this film,” she says.

Yuvraj Singh`s Bollywood fixation refuses to end. After a series of link-ups with several leading ladies from Kim Sharma to Deepika Padukone and more recently Preity Zinta, the latest to catch swashbuckling southpaw fantasy is Riya Sen.

Yuvraj was seen with his new arm candy from tinsel town in a private party in Mumbai before Yuvraj left for the Asia Cup in Pakistan. And after some cozy moments, they reportedly left the gathering and quietly slipped into Yuvraj`s car.

For what seems to be the first time, Katrina Kaif was recently seen shying away from sporting a dance costume, which she found too short for her comfort.

While shooting for the title track of Singh is Kinng , which is being choreographed for Remo Fernandez, she had dance steps that required her to bend forward several times. And this made Katrina too conscious.

Sensing that she was uncomfortable in that particular outfit, Remo tried to assure her that the steps would not look vulgar on-screen. Remo said, “Yes, Katrina was apprehensive while doing a particular sequence. I had to cajole her into it because it was a beautiful dance step.”

Finally, Remo made one of his female assistants, who was dressed in the same outfit, do the exact steps. After seeing that, Katrina gave it a try and it turned out so well, that she repeated it several times.

Remo added, “Once Katrina was comfortable, she pulled it off really well.”

Do people beyond a certain age have the right to get married?

That’s a fairly valid question and it emerges from the creases of comedy in Mere Baap Pehle Aap. In the film the son arranges for his aging father to marry the woman he loved and lost.
Two years ago Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia, known in real life to have share more than a passing fondness, played aging single parents who find love. The film Pyar Mein Twist bombed. So did Hamare Tumhare where Sanjeev Kumar wanted to marry Rakhi. Basu Chatterjee’s Khatta Meetha got a slightly better opening. Maybe Ashok Kumar and Pearl Padamsee looked like they were married anyway. So nobody minded.

The alarming part of Mere Baap Pehle Aap is that Paresh Rawal and Shobana who are supposed to be ‘old’ people discovering belated love together, are both in their 40s.

Is that old? Especially in an industry where women are too taken up with their careers to worry about their biological clock. They tend to ‘settle down’ a little late in life. Or not at all. Look at the screen divas who made it, and those who didn’t. Hema Malini and Sridevi found love and motherhood in the arms of a married man. Both Hemaji and Sridevi in spite of breaking the social code have conducted their married lives with extreme dignity and grace.

Like his colleagues Amtiabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, ace filmmaker Karan Johar has also started blogging, but says he is doing it to put his thoughts into writing rather than vocalising them all the time. “I’ve always been a closet writer. I’ve been offered newspaper columns that I almost did, but never got down to,” Karan told IANS.

“I feel a blog would be a good way to express my thoughts on cinema. Things that don’t routinely get space in the traditional media outlets these days,” added the director who is all set to direct his next “My Name is Khan” with Shah Rukh Khan.

The keenly awaited Snoop Dogg-RDB number for Singh Is Kinng has been recorded at last and will form a part of the film's soundtrack when it releases.

At present, there are plans to shoot the video in Los Angeles, where Akshay is headed for another film shoot. Both Akki and Katrina haven't stopped raving about the track!

Remarks the Kumar, "The song is mind-blowing. I made a few friends listen to it and they haven't stopped gushing about it. I am confident that just like the rest of the soundtrack this will go on to become a major chartbuster."Katrina seconds Akki's sentiments. 

"I've heard it and it's outstanding. If I'm right, it's the first real hip-hop song in a Hindi movie. I know that girls are supposed to be an integral part of hip-hop videos but I don't know whether there will be place for me in this video!" she laughs.

"It's very male-dominated and I don't want to be a prop. With Akshay and Snoop, it will rock anyway!" she adds.

Meanwhile, the title track of the film, rendered by Neeraj Shridhar and composed by Pritam, is likely to go on television later this week.

Arshad Warsi and Preity Zinta share an identical predicament. They've to play 'bad' actors in their latest films. While in Anil Kapoor's production, Shortcut, Arshad plays bad actor, in Rituparno Ghosh's Last Lear Preity is cast as a bad actress.

That isn't the only problem the actress had to face. Preity had a very real problem on the sets of Jahnu Barua's Harr Pal. Pritam Chakraborty has done the music score. Every time someone mentioned his name she thought they were calling out to her, because Pritam is the name given to her by Bobby Deol.

Harr Pal has been one of Preity’s toughest roles ever. But the role of the Punjabi NRI wife in Deepa Mehta's Heaven On Earth has been her toughest yet. She's still carrying the invisible wounds of the battered wives' character. The shooting was wrapped up on Sunday.

'Agg Lage Aaj Kal De Fashion Nu' - Now that's yet another chartbuster track by Pritam which is fast heating up the charts. From the film Haal-e-Dil which introduces three new faces - Nakuul Mehta, Amita Pathak and Adhyayan, this Labh Janjua and Hard Kaur sung number comes with a mix of English, Hindi and Punjabi lyrics and has some great club rhythm in motion.

But are you aware that this song was first offered to Shahid Kapoor who had refused it since he didn't really feel that the song had good enough potential to become a national rage?

Confirms a source attached to Haal-e-Dil, "Yes, Pritam had composed 'Agg Lage Aaj Kal De Fashion Nu' for Shahid's upcoming film Kismat Konnection keeping in mind the young and cool image that the Jab We Met star carries. However, Shahid wasn't too convinced and requested Pritam to compose something else. The composer did oblige and did come up with some other smash hit numbers that would soon be heard in Kismat Konnection."

Talking about the placement of the same song in Haal-e-Dil, the source divulges, "All this while Pritam hadn't forgotten 'Fashion'. He was attached to the song and knew its worth. This was the time when Bhushan Kumar too was looking for a song to be included in Haal-e-Dil. Though he was aware that Anand Raaj Anand, Vishal Bhardwaj and Raghav Sachar had done a good job with their respective songs in the Kumar Mangat film, he was still in lookout of that sure shot chartbuster song which could propel album sales overnight."
