Vidya Balan won the best actress Colors Screen Award for 2011 while Ranbir Kapoor won the best actor award. The awards show which was hosted by Shahrukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Sajid Khan, also witnessed SRK win the best actor award (by audience voting). Surprisingly, Deepika Padukone was the audience choice for Best Actress. Milan Luthria won the best director award.
