Shilpa Shetty is enjoying the new-found motherhood to the hilt. Young Viaan, Shilpa’s two-week-old son, is keeping his mother occupied all the time. From changing nappies to spending sleepless nights ensuring that the baby is fed on time, Shilpa is experiencing the side effects of being a mother, but she’s not complaining. “How can I? One look at him (Viaan), and my tiredness vanishes. It’s such an amazing feeling. Viaan is teaching me a lot of things. I really value and respect all the mothers in the world,” said Shilpa in an interview to a daily.
Though Shilpa is immensely happy having Viaan in her life, the 37-year-old actor also admits that she would have been happier if the baby had been a girl. “I am very fond of girls. My walk and pregnancy postures apparently indicated that it was a boy! But my Guruji prepared me to welcome a soul into the world, irrespective of gender,” she added.
Shilpa will be flying to London to spend quality time with her in-laws. Raj Kundra’s parents are currently in the city and will move back to London in a few days time. Viaan will go there in the winter to celebrate his first Christmas with his family. That will be his first trip abroad and, we bet, not his last!
