In the recent past, there have been number of instances where actors have been offered humungous amounts of money to do an item number. But this time actor Kareena Kapoor has apparently been offered a crore to do an item song for a South film.

Apparently the makers of the film Isai have approached Kareena. A source from the industry says, “Filmmaker SJ Suryah is trying to rope in Kareena for a song in his upcoming film, Isai. Kareena has earlier worked with him in Khushi and since he already knows her, he wants her to do the item song for him. Kareena is yet to confirm if she will be taking it up, nevertheless she has expressed a desire to listen to the song.”
Incidentally, Kareena is currently in the news for her itemnumber Halkat Jawani in Heroine. The actor, who’s credited with actually kickstarting the item number trend with It’s Rocking, will be seen in a Indian avatar in her song in filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine.
