Sridevi's love for clothes, ethnic sarees and her extravagant lifestyle needs no introduction. The yesteryear heartthrob is making her comeback through 'English Vinglish'. Toronto is going to see Sridevi in Indian attire specially designed by the ace designer Sabyasachi.
The directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, wife of filmmaker R Balki English Vinglish has been selected to be premiered at the world-prestigious Toronto International Film Festival.
Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who has won not only national but international awards and fame to his credit for his work, has designed all the clothes of Sridevi in the film. On Sridevi's special request, Sabyasachi has specially designed a saree which she will sport at the premiere on September 14th night.
The film is scheduled to be part of the highly coveted Galas' section for a world premiere. English Vinglish is a story of a woman's struggle with the English language and the insecurities she faces because of it. The film shot mostly in New York captures her transformational journey. Ajith is touted to be seen in a cameo in this film. Promised to be hilarious, touching and sensitive, we have to wait to see if the film will live up to the hype.
