After a spate of flops, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is back in form with 2 consecutive Superhits – Houseful 2 and Rowdy Rathore.
And now, the actor wants to make the most of his “bankable” tag. As per the latest buzz, Akshay Kumar has become the top paid actor in B-town hiking his fee to Rs 40 crs!Apparently, he hiked his fee to avoid average films and filmmakers.
Talking to daily, a source said, “He knows that very few filmmakers can afford his fee. The ones who can will be the top-notch ones. As of now, the actor is concentrating all his energy on his home production film. He’s focusing on the home production because he’s the sole investor and profit holder in that venture.”
Akshay’s approach is indicative that from now on he wants profits to be the prime focus. “Barring buddies like Sajid Khan, Akshay Kumar won’t compromise on his fees,” the source added. Akshay Kumar’s will be seen in ‘Joker’ next. The fate of the movie at the Box Office would decide if Akshay’s over the top demand should be entertained or not.
