She’s played village girl-turned-supermodel, Meghna Mathur in Fashion, feisty sister of a Don, Sweety in Kaminey, violent femme fatale Susanna Johannes in Saat Khoon Maaf, and but now everyone’s favourite desi girl, Ms Priyanka Chopra wants to venture out even further as far as her acting skills are concerned.
About her role, PC states, “Whichever role is the toughest, bring it to me, I’ll do it.”What of her upcoming film Barfi (as the actress plays a girl who is autistic), what does the actress make of the overall film? “We have brought ‘Barfi!’ to spread happiness. The film’s philosophy is ‘Don’t worry, be Barfi’ instead of ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ we are saying this,” Chopra states.
Murphy (played by Ranbir Kapoor) is the main protagonist who is deaf and mute, what does PC think of his ‘happy go lucky’ nature? “Ranbir’s character’s philosophy is this! When he enters our lives, he touches us all and teaches us that you don’t need much to be happy, just a big heart,” she further adds.
